Construction Schedule Management

Monitoring builder programs, flagging deviations, and managing risks to ensure milestones are met.

Keeping construction projects on schedule requires constant vigilance and proactive risk management. Studio Scope monitors builder programs using industry-standard tools, identifies deviations early, and drives corrective actions to keep your project on track.

We review and assess contractor programs against baseline schedules, tracking critical path activities and milestone dates. When deviations occur, we work with the builder to develop recovery strategies and realistic catch-up plans.

Our schedule management extends beyond simple monitoring — we actively manage look-ahead programs, coordinate trade sequencing, and ensure that long-lead procurement items are ordered on time to prevent downstream delays.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What tools do you use for schedule management?

We primarily use Microsoft Project for program analysis and tracking. We also work with Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools depending on project requirements. Our reporting is tool-agnostic — we focus on clear, actionable schedule information.

How do you handle schedule delays?

When we identify a delay or potential delay, we immediately assess the impact on the critical path and downstream activities. We work with the builder to develop a recovery plan, which may include resequencing trades, increasing resources, or adjusting methodology.

Do you assess extensions of time (EOT) claims?

Yes. We review EOT claims against the contract, assess the validity of the claimed delay events, and advise on entitlement. Our contemporaneous schedule records provide a strong evidence base for EOT assessments.
